Liverpool have enjoyed a strong start to the Premier League season and entered the international break high on confidence after a commanding 3-0 victory versus Aston Villa.

The Reds kicked off their season with a 1-1 draw away at Chelsea on the opening weekend and following up that result with wins against Newcastle United, Bournemouth and Villa.

Jurgen Klopp's third-placed side will now have to wait until September 16 to play their next Premier League fixture and will hope no players sustain injuries while in action for their country in the coming days.

Ahead of a return to domestic football, we have taken a look at the next six games coming the way of the Reds and their rivals.

September 16 - Wolves (A): Liverpool make the trip to Molineux in their first game back, taking on a Wolves team with one win to their name in their first four matches. The West Midlands club hired Gary O'Neil as their new manager ahead of the new campaign, with Julen Lopetegui moving on.

September 24 - West Ham United (H): The Reds host the Hammers after going head-to-head with Wolves and will no doubt be set for a tough game against David Moyes' team. West Ham, like Liverpool, remain undefeated after four games and have adapted well to the departure of Declan Rice.

September 30 - Tottenham Hotspur (A): Another side yet to lost this season will be up next after the Hammers, with Liverpool making the trip to the capital to face Spurs. New manager Ange Postecoglou is certainly getting a tune out of his squad, who look revitalised despite Harry Kane's exit.

October 8 - Brighton (A): This fixture will prove to be a serious test for Liverpool, who twice lost at the home of the Seagulls last season. Roberto De Zerbi's side continue to go from strength to strength and are looking likely to be a real force once again this year.

October 21 - Everton (H): The first Merseyside derby of the season comes at Anfield and will see the Reds looking to get one up on their local rivals. Everton have endured a slow start to the season and are still searching for their first win.

October 29 - Nottingham Forest (H): After avoiding relegation last term, Forest have shown intent in the transfer market and are now backing up such signings with strong performances on the pitch. An away victory at Chelsea in their last game shows what they are capable of.
