Revealed: The price Brighton now want for Mac Allister as Liverpool and Man United race heats up
Brighton could accept offers of £60million for Liverpool and Man United target Alexis Mac Allister this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The Merseyside club are eager to rebuild their midfield department in the summer and have made the 24-year-old attacking midfielder one of their top targets after dropping out of the race for Jude Bellingham.

Chelsea have also registered interest in signing Mac Allister and are ready to rival both Liverpool and United for his signature.

It is understood that Brighton are eager to keep hold of Mac Allister if possible, but the Seagulls are aware that the World Cup winner may push for a move and this summer may be their best opportunity to cash in.

Brighton value Mac Allister between £60-70million, but are hopeful that interest from three Premier League giants may result in a bidding war this summer.

Liverpool view Mac Allister as a cheaper option to Bellingham, and they are growing in confidence about their chances of signing him after his father’s recent comments in the media.

“Clubs are starting to call us for Alexis but there are no concrete talks now,” said Mac Allister’s father, Carlos.

“We’ll decide together with Brighton, they deserve respect. We will pick the best project, based on the coach too — it’s not about money.”

Mac Allister has been a key player for Roberto De Zerbi’s side this season, scoring 10 goals and assisting twice in 29 appearances this season.

Brighton are under no pressure to sell Mac Allister this season after the Argentina international signed a contract extension until 2025 back in October.
