Thomas Partey spotted in Arsenal training but two key players missing ahead of Leeds clash...

Thomas Partey was spotted in training ahead of Arsenal's clash against Leeds on Saturday, but two key players were missing.
Partey has been a driving force behind Mikel Arteta's title charge this season, but his absence for his country has sparked major concern.

The 29-year-old didn't play during Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Angola, with manager Chris Hughton confirming that he did not want to risk the midfielder from the start.

Speaking to the press after the game, former Brighton and Newcastle boss Hughton explained: "Thomas has some small issues, a small injury issue and we felt it was too big of a risk to start him."

It was understood the Partey would return to north London to be assessed, but in a major boost for Gunners fans he was pictured in training on Thursday, as per Sky Sports.

Saliba misses training

Meanwhile William Saliba was one of those missing from London Colney.

The 22-year-old limped off injured during the Gunners' Europa League defeat to Sporting Lisbon and has not featured for the team since, missing their 4-1 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

He was forced to withdraw from Didier Deschamps' France squad for their upcoming friendlies, sparking concern over the extent of his injury.

And in a fresh blow for supporters, Saliba was absent from Thursday's training session.

Eddie Nketiah was also absent, with the Englishman thought to still be suffering with an ankle injury.
