Liverpool news: Jurgen Klopp gifted chance to complete Jude Bellingham transfer amid exit...

As Liverpool fans will tell you, it's time for Jurgen Klopp to sign a new central midfielder.
The likes of Jordan Henderson, Thiago Alcantara and Fabinho are all entering the latter stages of their careers, while Naby Keita and James Milner are both out of contract in June. Liverpool need some fresh talent, as their results this season prove. They are sixth in the Premier League - seven points behind Tottenham in fourth with two games in hand.

Klopp's side also failed to go the distance in the FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Champions League - just a season after they reached the final of all those competitions. With the transfer window just around the corner, here are the latest headlines from Merseyside

Real cool Bellingham interest
Real Madrid are not expected to make any major signings this summer - giving Liverpool the chance to swoop for Jude Bellingham.

The England international, 19, is Liverpool's main transfer target after impressing at the World Cup in Qatar and in the Champions League for Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund. Several pundits are tipping Bellingham to leave Germany this summer.

Bellingham is likely to cost more than £130million due to his outstanding potential. Although Man City and Paris Saint-Germain are still interested in the talent, Real's new stance increases Liverpool's chances of luring Bellingham to Merseyside.
