Comfirm: Leicester vs Arsenal Starting XI updates: line-ups and team news

Arsenal are set to face Leicester City this afternoon as they look to win back-to-back games following the victory against Aston Villa last week. The Gunners had picked up one point in their three fixtures prior to the win at Villa Park and will hope to put pressure on Manchester City with a win against the Foxes.
Mikel Arteta provided a fresh update on Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus ahead of the trip to the King Power Stadium, hinting that the former could be involved. Partey missed the last two games with a muscle injury as Jorginho replaced him in Arteta's starting line up.

The Arsenal boss said: "The question mark on Thomas, he hasn’t trained much but looks like he could be available. Let’s see how he goes today. We’ve missed him in the past few games and hopefully he’ll be back."

Partey's return could see Arteta change his team around giving him a slight selection headache. The Spaniard has revealed how well Fabio Vieira has been training and is considering handing him a rare start in midfield, whilst January signings Jorginho and Leandro Trossard are also pushing to start against Leicester.

The Arsenal Twitter account has hinted at a possible piece of team news as the Gunners look to move five points clear at the top of the table before City play Bournemouth this evening. Gabriel Martinelli ended his goal drought with a strike against Villa after coming off the bench, but Trossard could be back in the XI after starting the last match.

The Belgian forward scored his first goal for the club against Brentford after completing a £27million switch from Brighton in January. Trossard has taken a few weeks to settle into his new surroundings but has shown promising signs of being an important player for Arteta heading towards the end of the season.
