Liverpool tonight face Wolves in the third round of the FA Cup.
The holders hope a Saturday night Anfield atmosphere will help them get past this stage for the 11th time in 12 years although the only time they failed to do so in that run came courtesy of a defeat to tonight’s opponent.
Wolves are still getting used to life under Julen Lopetegui and conceded a late equaliser to Aston Villa last time out. The four-time winners may be embroiled in a relegation battle but will hope a cup run will boost their confidence.
